On 21 April 2013, H.E. Prasas Prasasvinitchai, Ambassador of Thailand to the Philippines, hosted a dinner in honour of Air Chief Marshal Chanat Ratana-Ubol, Assistant Commander-in-Chief, Royal Thai Air Force, on the occasion of the latter’s visit to the Philippines between 21 – 24 April 2013.

On 9 April 2013, H.E. Prasas Prasasvinitchai, Ambassador of Thailand to the Philippines, hosted a dinner in honour of Ms. Pannipa Sermsri, Deputy Secretary-General of the House of Representatives on the occasion of the latter’s visit to the Republic of the Philippines to learn the preparation of the Republic of the Philippines towards ASEAN community in 2015 between 7 – 10 April 2013.

On 13 April 2013, H.E. Prasas Prasasvinitchai, Ambassador of Thailand to the Philippines was invited to attend Songkran Thai Food Gala Buffet organized by Philippine-Thai Cultural Organization (PTCO) at Rockwell Tent, Rockwell Center. The event aimed at raising funds to support victims of calamities in the Philippines.

Ambassador delivered remarks explaining the traditional Songkran Festival and expressed appreciation to PTCO and Thai restaurants participating in the event (Azuthai, Benjarong, Celadon, 8 Spices, People's Palace and Oody's) as well as Thai Airways International and Tourism Authority of Thailand that sponsored round trip air plane ticket, accommodation, and travel package for the raffle draws. There were more than 400 guests including the VIP e.g. H.E. Josue Villa, former Ambassador of the Philippines to Thailand and honorable president of PTCO and H.E. Cesar Virata, former Prime Minister/Secretary of Finance of the Philippines.

On 4 April 2013, H.E. Prasas Prasasvinitchai, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Philippines, presided over the opening ceremony of "The 5^th Thailand Trade Show 2013" organized by the Thai Trade Center, Royal Thai Embassy in cooperation with the Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce of Thailand at SMX Convention Center. H.E. Malayvieng Sakonhninhom, Ambassador of the Lao People's Democratic Republic and H.E. Tout Panha, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia also graced the event.

During the event, there was a raffle draw for diners in Thai restaurants that participated in the Songkran Promotion Month (People's Palace, Benjarong, 8 spices, Simply Thai, Mango Tree, and Azuthai) between 6 March – 2 April 2013. The winner was awarded round trip air plane ticket, accommodation, and travel package sponsored by Thai Airways International and Tourism Authority of Thailand to experience the Songkran Festival in Bangkok.
