On 22 May 2011, the Philippine-Thai Cultural Organization (PTCO) and the Asian Institute of Technology Alumni Association (AITAA) hosted a dinner to welcome H.E. Prasas Prasasvinitchai, Ambassador of Thailand to the Philippines. Attended the event are officers of the Royal Thai Embassy, Thai community in Manila and members of PTCO and AITAA who share fond memories of living in Thailand as diplomats, expats, students, etc.
During dinner, PTCO and AITAA also announced a partnership and collaboration between the two associations in fulfilling its common goal to promote dynamic relations among their members and the Thai community in the Philippines.
Ambassador Prasasvinitchai welcomed the activities of both PTCO and AITAA, which has contributed to the strengthening of people-to-people contact.
Over the past year, PTCO has organized a number of cultural events both in the Philippines and Thailand, such as culinary tours and a Loy Kratong trip to Chaing Mai, Thailand.
