On 19 May 2011, Thai Officials from the Secretariat of the House of Representatives of Thailand led by Mrs. Chollada Kunkloy, Director Bureau of Foreign Languages, paid a courtesy call on Mr. Thanis Na Songkhla, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission, at the Royal Thai Embassy on the occasion of visiting the Philippines under the 2011 Parliamentary Exchange Programme during 16-20 May 2011. Minister Na Songkhla expressed appreciation for the active role of the Thai Secretariat of the House of Representatives to enhance cooperation and build networks with the Philippine counterpart.
During the visit, the Thai delegation also had the opportunity to share experiences and exchange the best practices in the areas of Legislation, Foreign Affairs, the Structure and the Administration, Printing and Public Relations with the high-ranking officials from the Secretariat of the House of Representatives of the Philippines. The Thai delegation also visited the Philippines’ National Broadcasting Network (NBN) to observe the live newscast of Teledyaryo Business at the NBN News Studio.
