Royal Thai Embassy 
On 5 December 2011, the Royal Thai Embassy in Manila, led by H.E. Prasas Prasasvinitchai, Ambassador of Thailand to the Philippines, hosted a reception in the auspicious occasion of the 84 th Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej at the Grand Ballroom, Dusit Thani Hotel, Makati City. The event was attended by over 300 distinguished guests including Mrs. Laura Q. del Rosario, Acting Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines, Archbishop Guiseppe Pinto, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, Mr. Fidel V. Ramos, Former President of the Philippines, Mr. Cesar Virata, Former Prime Minister of the Philippines, Ms. Olga Alava, newly crowned Miss Earth 2011 from Ecuador and Runner ups, Ms. Niratcha Tungtisanont, Miss Thailand Earth 2011, members of the diplomatic and consular corps, dignitaries from the Philippine Government and members of Team Thailand in the Philippines.
With the Royal Permission, the Royal Thai Embassy presented the movie on the State Visit to the Philippines of Their Majesties the King and Queen of Thailand in 1963 and Exhibition on His Majesty’s activities. Thai owners of restaurants in Manila were also invited to showcase their signature dishes.
