On 21 May 2011, “the 3rd Thai Badminton Tournament in Manila” was organized at Valencia Badminton Court, Gilmore. Participated in the tournament were 60 Thais living in Manila. The tournament was aimed at promoting network among Thais in the Philippines.
Presided over the awarding ceremony was H.E. Prasas Prasasvinitchai, Ambassador of Thailand to the Philippines, who awarded gold medals to 6 winning couples and the Champion cup to the best performing team.
The event is part of series of sport activities among Thais in the Philippines. Other highlights are futsal and golf. Thai community in the Philippine is planning to organize the 3rd futsal tournament in June 2011.
