Royal Thai Embassy 
On June 28, 2010, H.E. Kulkumut Singhara Na Ayudhaya, Ambassador of Thailand to the Republic of the Philippines, presided the turn-over ceremony of SCG?s ?Sharing the Dream? scholarship to the Philippine Students at UPPC Learning Center, Calumpit, Bulacan.
Scholarships to 100 students were given to schools in Bulacan and Batangas. During the event, there were approximately 200 participants, including Calumpit and Sto. Tomas City Delegate, press, school principals and students? families.
The Thai Ambassador praised the SCG vision which was focused on the importance of returning gratitude to society, especially through the promotion of educational opportunity to the Filipino youths. This is one example of the corporate social responsibility (CSR) and close cooperation in local development between SCG and the Philippine community. In addition, Calumpit City Representative admired the work of the Royal Thai Embassy and SCG through education cooperation and also appreciated the UPPC Company on taxes payment policy which will be utilized for the development of Calumpit community
Moreover, student representative, who will graduate in 2011, expressed appreciation for the educational projects of SCG and the Royal Thai Embassy for the Filipino students. Education is part of social investment, which will further contribute to the development of the nation.
Under the mobile consulate program, the Royal Thai Embassy also met and visited Thai employees of SCG to look after the well-being of all Thai people and prepare the readiness in the case of natural disaster particularly the emergency plan to handle the situation, such as typhoon, flood and earthquake. Also, the Embassy will facilitate the necessary documents such as passport, driver?s license and marriage certificate.
