ASIA-PACIFIC INTERNATIONAL MODEL UNITED NATIONS 
IN BANGKOK, THAILAND 
8-12 APRIL 2012

The ASEAN Regional Center of Excellence on Millennium Development Goals (ACRMDG) and Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) will be conducting the Asia-Pacific International Model United Nations (APMUN) between 8 and 12 April 2012 in Bangkok with a special focus on “Sustainable Development and the MDGs.
Being held in Bangkok annually in collaboration with the UN Regional Headquarters and various governmental institutions, the APMUN offers participants the insight into the high-level skill of negotiation in international conferences and the working of the United Nations organs such as the General Assembly and Security Council. Participants will have the opportunity to participate in a role-play simulation representing the interests of a nation or organization as diplomats, members of international organizations, national cabinets and press agencies in discussing global issues.

Registration is now open to individual and group participants (universities/clubs/associations) until 20 February 2012. Conference fees are dependent on the preferable programme. Each delegate has to be responsible for the food, accommodation and travel expenses. For more information, please visit www.asiapacificmun.org.
