BOI Fair 2011: “Going Green for the Future”

The Royal Thai Embassy wishes to disseminate information on economic activity in Thailand, particularly the promotion of investment in Thailand.
On 10 – 25 November 2011 the Board of Investment of Thailand will organize the BOI Fair 2011 with the theme “Going Green for the Future” at the Impact Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi, Thailand, in honour of His Majesty the King’s 84th Birthday Anniversary.
In line with H.M. the King’s philosophy of “Sufficiency Economy”, the BOI Trade Fair 2011 aims to highlight the achievements of Thai industries in the areas of technology and innovation, as well as their commitment towards a Green Economy and sustainable development.
The Fair is set to hold 84 outdoor pavilions and more than 3,000 indoor booths where an estimated 5 million visitors are expected to participate in the event which will include both local and foreign investors. Furthermore, various activities relating to trade and investment are going to be held ranging from a CEO Forum to 200 seminars on investment and various business exhibitions from each industrial sector.
The fair will present an opportunity for both the public and private investors from all over the world to gain insight on the advancement of the Thai industrial sector as well as to explore business and investment opportunities in Thailand. The event would also offer a unique opportunity for members of the industrial and business communities around the world to expand their network.
